Conference news: Hernia Masterclass

In the run-up to their 44th International Congress, the British Hernia Society and European Hernia Society held a 2-day Cadaveric Hernia Masterclass here at the MSSSC, attended by an invited group of general and gastrointestinal surgeons from across the globe. A faculty of world-class abdominal wall experts shared their knowledge and experience through detailed cadaveric dissections and informative lectures, including a section on bailout techniques for emergency hernia care, interactive case discussions, and lectures on inguinal and ventral hernias.
